Friends are great and yet sometimes you need something more, like a coach.
Coaching is different from therapy in that we may or may not talk about your mental health but there need not be any mental health diagnosis. Coaching aims to identify a present-day problem area, identify goals, and provide structure and support along with a co-created plan to meet those goals.
While therapy often focuses on parts of the past that are influencing you currently. Coaching aims to stay in the present and help you work through whatever challenges are in your way by directly accessing the skills and resources you already have as well as building on them further and increasing your ability to bounce-back when hard thing happen.
